Immigration Rap

We created "A Better Life" as our second major documentary project. It was a successful endeavor. Students interviewed politicians, immigrants, reporters and professors with the goal of getting an accurate portrayal of immigration in America. One interesting take-home was the number of students who learned that immigration is not simply a "Latino" thing, but that we have so many immigrants from all over the world here in our city. We began to see the exchange of culture and ideas that create our sense of what it means to be American.
