Social Voice Podcasts: Face the Issues
In a visual, image-driven culture, we forget that words are powerful and that the spoken word can be a great medium for exploring issues. For this reason, we have three major podcast categories: Living History (interviews with people who have lived during the times we are studying), Face the Issues (an exploration of social and political issues) and Community Connection (which deals with the issues in our immediate community).
Face the Issues is a podcast exploring the issues that occur in our world. It can be a social or political issue. It can be something as distant as another continent or as close as our own neighborhood. The goal of Face the Issues is to have serious dialogue. Sometimes it's a debate, other times a spontaneous conversation.
Face the Issues Podcast will resume by September 1, 2008. We will add the archives to the new ones we create.
