Social Voice Video: In Coke We Trust

CLIPS FROM THE DOCUMENTARY

Soda is a large, multi-million dollar industry in America. Go to any supermarket and notice a full aisle devoted to the drink. Yet, what are the forces behind this phenomenon? How does it relate to American society?

The goal was not to create an expose, but to have an honest exploration of what the soda industry can tell us about ourselves. In the process, students created a well-constructed, entertaining documentary. We interviewed doctors, dentists, PE teacher and other experts in the field. Although it was a challenge to find people to interview, the end result is something we are proud of.

Time: 90 minutes

Format: skits, interviews, pictures with dialogue, puppets, rap song,
