Sometimes it seems as if the issues do not matter in an election. Candidates make promises that they don't intend to keep. Television spends hours of news time focussing on John Edwards and his hair cut or Hillary Clinton crying or whether John McCain is too old.

We are not choosing America's next top model. We are choosing the man or woman who will pass legislation, choose Supreme Court Justices, represent us before the world and act as the Commander in Chief of the military.

With those thoughts in mind, this site is designed as a basic exploration of the issues. From the candidates to the political parties, this website represents what we have learned about the issues and the upcoming election.

As the presidential race continues, we will add information. We will link articles written by students and engage in dialogue through the blog.
