Goal: Keep as much as you can for an important need Danger: You can save too much and miss out on life Advantage: It is the safest way to handle money Example: bank account   Testing Stage: Testing of parts of software, especially where code by two different engineers must work together, falls to the software engineer. DEBT Function: borrowing money. Goal: Get what you want now and pay later Danger: You can go bankrupt Advantage: It makes more money than any other group. Example: Credit cards, check cashing places   Architecture Stage: The architecture of a software system refers to an abstract representation of that system. Architecture is concerned with making sure the software system will meet the requirements of the product, as well as ensuring that future requirements can be addressed. The architecture step also addresses interfaces between the software system and other software products, as well as the underlying hardware or the host operating system.   DONATING: Function: giving your money away. Goal: Help others out Danger: People can become dependent Advantage: You help the community Example: Giving money to a charity   DISCUSSION ZONE A social voice does not need to be a place of conformity, where the whole group collectively shouts out one idea in full agreement. Nor does it need to be a lone, solitary voice speaking out for society. Instead, it can be a dialogue, a conversation between multiple people on a similar issue. For this reason, we have a discussion board and a discussion blog, where students can join an ongoing, online dialogue about the issues that are important in their world. Join our discussion board. We apologize for the fact that it is ad-supported. Perhaps in the future we can switch to one that is ad-free. Can we have an authentic dialogue online? Or does the fact that it is online mean it is not really human? Or perhaps is it possible that in the anonymity of cyberspace we can be ourselves and speak our minds without pretending to be the jock or the gangster or the preppy or the nerd?
